Why Vervia?

It is well known that the recruitment, retention, reliability and
performance of workers can be a challenge and Vervia
acts as a support to all of those issues.

Recruitment – for every 20 workers who call Vervia looking for work, approximately only one ever succeeds. There are a number of reasons for this, no verifiable background, no experience, unable to communicate effectively and so on. Every worker is interviewed face
to face either in our office premises or in their own home. Before commencing work with Vervia, each worker must provide us with formal proof of identification with a photograph (usually a passport
or a new style driving license), formal proof of address (usually a
bank statement), proof of a bank account and references from previous employers. You can therefore be assured that our
worker has been vetted and checked to the highest standards.

Retention – Vervia’s workers have access to as much or as little work as they want. This ensures a high level of continuity. Although changes are inevitable, access to the Vervia database ensures that
a replacement can be found, often at short notice, should a worker leave your assignment.

Reliability – The majority of Vervia's workers have been with us for some time and are known to be reliable. However, Vervia recruits new workers on an ongoing basis and you will be told if you are being introduced to a new worker. On the rare occasion that a worker does prove to be unreliable, you can contact Vervia and we will replace them.

Performance – We have many e-mails and letters of thanks testifying to the quality of our workers and service, however, if your worker’s performance does not meet your expectations you can call Vervia and we will either approach the worker with your feedback or send you an alternative. If performance does not improve, we will provide you with an alternative worker.
